Please help!! DV LOTTERY REINTERVIEW 30th September

I am in a predicament. I interviewed in June and I have just now been invited for a second stage public charge interview on the 30th September. If they do grant my visa - will they be able to issue it on the day? How long will it take them to issue it? Will they hold onto my passport for processing - at what point do they stop issuing visas - for example does the consular officer approve it on the 30th - are they able to still continue processing my passport on the 5th October etc? Or is it a hard deadline? Feeling extremely stressed - I know I need to go, but I am worried about wasting my time if it isn’t stamped and approved by 1st October submitted by /u/ExtraScratch6068 to r/greencard [link] [comments]
