West Texan facing financial hardship due to delayed DACA renewal

Hello, I’m terrified and not sure where to turn. My DACA renewal has been pending since April 29, and my work permit expired August 25. I’ve been looking for gigs and actually found one last weekend, but my rent and car payments are due in a couple of days and I’m honestly desperate. Seeing the post about someone staying in a Dallas shelter made me reach out. I started a GoFundMe for rent and basic expenses while I wait to return to work. If you can share it or know of resources near Lubbock, TX, I’d be grateful: https://www.gofundme.com/f/noes-daca-renewal-emergency-fund?utm\_campaign=natman\_sharesheet\_dash&utm\_medium=customer&ts=1790614092&utm\_source=native\_options submitted by /u/No-E to r/DACA [link] [comments]
