Is my down payment too big?

I (27F) plan to offer $500k for a house. I have: -$240k liquid -$30k (after capital gains tax) I could pull out of a brokerage -$220k in retirement -Zero debt I make $135k per year with $7,800 hitting my account every month after taxes, 401k, health insurance. I’m planning to put $200k into the down payment + closing costs, estimated $5k-10k closing costs. So down payment would be $190-195k This would put my PITI at $2100. Is this too big of a down time payment? I’m scared I wouldn’t be able to afford the payment otherwise. submitted by /u/queenboogersugar to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
