How to feel financially okay to buy a fun car

I've been saving my whole life, I graduated university Last December and have been working and making so close to a six figure salary. My company does not offer a 401k for the first year but I've maxed my Roth for the year and been investing into my personal brokerage. (I've also almost hit six figures saved). It's always been drilled into me to save save save and I've been doing that but now i want to buy a fun car. Im talking like a 10k car something like a miata that i can work on and just enjoy but still have my daily. Part of me knows that I shouldn't just spend the money on something like this but I also feel like if I don't do it now, will I ever do it. So, basically, How can i convince myself to bite the bullet or is it actually a bad idea. Edited to Add, Sorry, forgot to add, I am 23, making 90k a year, 1k rent, no other bills other than standard groceries and gas. Savings from roth+individual is 96k submitted by /u/washedupguru to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
