Stepping Down to potentially lower paying role

Hi everyone, I am currently a Fulfillment Coach at Walmart, basically an assistant store manager. I make $70k, work 50hr weeks, and am salary so no overtime. I also get a yearly bonus IF our store hits profit and sales plan, but the criteria has gotten stricter in the way that bonus reduced to about $4000 compared to my first year was $10,000 while hitting similar metrics. I'm thinking of stepping down to be a regular associate in a store 5 minutes from my house, my current commute is 40 minutes one way. Primary reason is to spend more time with family and have less stress, as the position is very stressful. Pay cap will be $29 and that's what I'd be making according to my HR and the internal company payroll systems. Overtime is allowed and common, it is time and a half. The amount of free time I will gain to pursue both hobbies and time with my wife and 3 children are an immediate reason to want to do it, but I don't want to rush in and cripple us financially. My wife previously was a SAHM but has begun childcare in the home making about $400 a month. If you switch my 50hr week at $70k salary to hourly, it lands at $26.92 an hour.
