How to survive lost job

I am 51m about to lose my job with no kids or family support nearby. I live in San Diego, CA, I have a mortgage that has 30k in equity (but home won’t sell for what I have left to pay on it), credit card debt of $6,500, savings account of $12,000, credit rating around 800, 401k, Thrift Savings Plan (401a), both 401k and TSP total $600k, and $7,500 on ETFs. How do I survive while unemployed until I find a job? I anticipate my savings will be drained in a couple months of a being unemployed. I’m applying for jobs. Please don’t be flippant as this is serious. Edit: I only have a 1-br condo, so a roommate isn’t much of an option. Edit 2: I’m a 50% disabled veteran and getting a monthly support check. It’ll help some. Better than nothing. Edit 3: Uber and Lyft may not be current options for me, because I have a 2025 Mini Cooper 2dr. Most markets require at least a 4dr. submitted by /u/falsifiable1 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
