End of the journey, US citizen β

Completed the oath ceremony today at Springfield, MA National Historic Armory Site. It was a long journey filled with anticipation, anxiety, uncertainty but finally can close this chapter and begin a new one. It was supposed to rain today but weather was sunny and really pleasant for the ceremony. N400 timeline (married to US citizen): - November 2025 : filed application for combo i751+n400 interview. Was waiting for i751 to be approved for 3+ years but no response, decided to go with n400 - May 2026: notice for interview - June 2026: combo interview, wife was asked to wait outside. It started with presenting additional evidence (between application submit and interview), questions about family, marriage, future goals etc. Even though I have a clean history (not even a traffic ticket) and have been in US for 13+ years, the interview still went over 1 hour. - Sep 2026: received notice for same month oath ceremony FO: Lawrence, MA The few advice I can provide based on my experience: 1. Over-prepare: I saw in both green card and citizenship interviews of people coming confident with barely any evidence documents and getting rejected. Their interview lasted less than 3 minutes 2.
