Leave a stable $96k job for $63k + 20% equity at a startup?

edit: Thank you to everyone for your advice; I have no words for how grateful i am for all of your ideas. I think I am going to go forward with the move. To everyone warning me that the movie biz is a waste right now, I am going to be honest that I lied about the field for anonymity. It isn’t a movie studio, but I’ll keep your advice in mind. Thank you! Throwaway. Trying to sanity check myself before I do something big. I'm 27, San Diego based in biotech making $96k (~$111k with 401k match), but the work's gotten extremely stale and I've been essentially told that there is zero chance of promotion or upward mobility until the current administration changes funding and approval policy. Out of the blue, one of my best friends from highschool reaches out and offered me a spot at an early-stage movie studio at $63k base and 20% founder equity, 3+ years runway, films actually in development. The actual day-to-day (production, marketing, creative stuff) sounds way more fun than what I'm doing now.
