Emergency fund anxiety

Hello, not sure how to start this but I’ve been having anxiety issues lately regarding my emergency fund. My goal was to have at least 1 year of monthly expenses saved. At the moment, I have 15K saved which would last me 10 months, but with this job market not too sure if that’s even enough. I’m currently employed, but at times with a micromanager and a toxic work environment it’s getting to the point where I want to quit out of the blue instead of waiting until I have something lined up. I know that’s not ideal but it’s also not ideal to deplete my savings since I’m not sure when I’m going to have a job again or one that I can withstand. Hopefully this doesn’t sound like I’m complaining, just wanted to see if anyone else have anxiety with an emergency fund. I know I need professional help with my mental health but If yall do have anxiety with this job market and thinking what you have isn’t enough how do yall cope? Thank you in advance! submitted by /u/ThotPatrol08 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
