Pulled into secondary inspection once. Does it affect my next trip?
Posting this as a last resort before I cancel my trip.Looking for any advice or help. In June 2025, I was sent to secondary inspection for frequent entries in Korea. (5 entries in a rolling year, some were transits and others were stays ) I have a multiple entry visa for Korea valid till December 2027. The immigration officer let me enter after checking my documents but gave a verbal warning that I can’t enter again like this, and advised me to get a medical visa or a digital nomad visa if I want to stay longer(I was getting skincare treatments and that was one of the reasons too). I was let in, and not given any entry ban, nor was my visa revoked. I can still see that it’s valid on the visa portal. It’s been more that a year now and I traveled to other countries ( Japan, Germany , Czech Republic, Austria, Thailand). I want to visit again as a tourist. Genuinely to visit my favourite places, eat and shop. I’ve called the embassy and they told me to email them and VFS. I’ve done that too and there has been no response. Will I get denied entry if I go. Are there chances that I’m banned ? It’s a country I really like and I don’t want to ruin it for me by getting permanently banned. su…
