New to investing and would be greatly appreciative to anyone that responds

So im 23 and make about 4200 a month looking to contribute 400 a month, my question is would a traditional ira or roth ira be better as i also wanna use the account to invest in stocks or i wanna say an etf which ive been looking and seen people recommend voo , I plan to get married in about a year or 2 as well and idk if this affects this or not, and if anyone has any recommendations on books to read or online videos that may be helpful i would greatly appreciate it submitted by /u/Ok_Researcher5702 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
