Just got furloughed at job for 30-45 days

Yeah so that was our 2 pm Friday zoom meeting where a bunch of us were given this news. Effective within the hour. No pay. But here’s my story. I am 66 and recently put in for social security beginning in November. I had this all planned out. Was going to keep working FT for awhile and then ask if I could potentially go PT. No rush about it. Now I’m trying to figure out what to do to keep some money coming in. Just did NOT see this coming…. submitted by /u/Remote-Composer-5630 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
