What is the Charles Schwab equivalent of the Vanguard Star Fund?

TL;DR - My family member is a jumpy investor and has burned bridges with family members who have helped us with investing in the past so it’s up to me apparently to find this out. ~ ~ ~ My family member has had money in the vanguard star fund for a few years now and is happy with how it’s performing but doesn’t want all their eggs in one basket. They want to put money in a mutual fund with Charles Schwab. They have already spoken with financial advisors but they’re so cagey about risk and anything that locks in money for a time. They don’t want to talk to the person who told them about Vanguard for whatever reason and they’ve burned bridges with other family members who have invested money for them by pulling out at the first sign of a dip. I have been urging them to get a professional to advise them because I don’t want them to hate ME if they lose money. However, they insist they will be okay if it’s a mutual fund equivalent to the vanguard star fund. I am worried about them turning to someone less trustworthy than me so I am willing to help this one time and if we fall out over it, so be it. Thanks in advance. submitted by /u/DeathMonkeyRobot to r/personalfinance [link] [comment…
