Opt denied because of admin error

I came to the U.S. on a B1/B2 visa and later changed my status to F-1 in February 2024. I was supposed to graduate on August 23, 2026. I applied for OPT on July 2 and completed my biometrics on July 20. On August 19, I received a denial notice stating that my SEVIS record had been terminated on August 3 for failing to enroll. I immediately contacted my DSO, and he told me that the school did not terminate my SEVIS record and that it might have been an error on SEVP’s end. He submitted a correction request. A couple of days later, my DSO told me the correction request was denied because my change of status approval from USCIS was never migrated to SEVIS. He asked me to send my I-797 approval notice, which I did. Today, he asked me to send the OPT denial notice because they received an RFE regarding my case. I sent that to him as well. I’ve spoken with three highly experienced immigration lawyers (one of them is on the Supreme Court panel). All of them told me that my DSO should be able to get this fixed because none of this was my fault. I also asked what would happen if the correction request is denied, and they said they would file for reinstatement. I have a few questions. If any…
