Green Card Arrived

FO: Los Angeles 🇺🇸 Sharing my marriage-based green card timeline! I’m the beneficiary. Timeline: Application sent: Feb 9 Receipt notice: Feb 11 Biometrics: March 16 Interview scheduled: July 9 Interview: Aug 4 Approved: Aug 5 🎉 Green card arrived: Aug 13 💚 Our case was pretty straightforward. No overstay, no unauthorized work, and I’m not from one of the visa-ban countries. Interview experience: Our interview was scheduled for 11:30 AM, but we didn’t get called in until around 3:30 PM. We were actually the last couple of the day! 😅 The interview lasted about 40 minutes, and honestly, it felt more like a casual and fun conversation than an interview. The officer asked us things like how we met, where we met, when we moved in together, and how long we dated before getting married. We had already uploaded most of our evidence before the interview. We also brought pictures with us, and the officer looked through photos from our 5-day wedding celebration. Then I was asked around 4–5 of the standard yes/no questions from the I-485.
