FTA1 after I-485 interview + 2 “Action Taken” emails , does this mean anything?
Hi everyone! I’m hoping people who have had FTA1/FTA0 events can share their experience, especially if they were followed by an approval. I have a marriage-based I-485/I-130. Here’s my timeline: 02/13/2026: I-485 and I-130 filed concurrently 03/07/2026: IMAG events on I-485 03/23/2026: Multiple FTA0 events on I-485 05/21/2026: FTA0 event on I-485 07/09/2026: FJ event / interview scheduled 07/27/2026: FTA0 event on I-485 08/04/2026: Marriage-based I-485 interview at the Los Angeles Field Office 08/27/2026: Two new FTA1 events on I-485, about 3 minutes apart At the interview, everything went well. The officer did not ask us for any additional evidence. We brought a packet of relationship evidence, which she accepted, and she said she would review the documents after the interview. She gave us the white Notice of Interview Results , which says: She also told us that, after thinking about it, the maximum we should have to wait for a decision would be the end of August . After the interview, my I-485 stayed on “Case Is Being Actively Reviewed” , with the last visible update being July 27. My I-130 stayed on “Interview Was Scheduled.” Then today, 08/27 , both cases refreshed . The I-485…
