[European PhD] Does earlier application time matters?

Because of the nature of European PhD is like a job openings and have set deadlines, does applying early affect your chances in anyway, like faster invitation for interviews or getting prioritised? Or can I just submit my whole application near the deadline and still get the same chance for an interview regardless if I submit the application early or not? (This is assuming that the PhD postings does not state something like "positions will be closed if suitable candidates is picked and no internal hiring) submitted by /u/Lab_ReportDueSoon to r/gradadmissions [link] [comments]
