Apartment landlord won't provide an itemized receipt, or remove charges

Hello everyone, For starters, I am being petty. The fee is $135 for a 2-inch "grease" spot that was on the paint when I moved in. I live in Florida, and they're required (to my knowledge) to provide an itemized receipt within 30 days of it being requested. It has been 32 days, and still no receipt. They sent me a "final bill statement" via email, that just says "Paint damages -$135". They never responded to my 3 emails requesting an itemized bill. Since the statement is so small, I fear it's not worth taking them to court (other than to be petty). How do I dispute this? I don't want the overdue bill to affect my credit score. I've offered to meet them at $35, which I believe is fair, with no response. submitted by /u/anonallisxn to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
