How screwed am I for having zero retirement savings at 29?

I make about $61k and just realized I've never contributed to a 401k, my job offers a 3% match I've been leaving on the table for four years. I have about $4,200 in savings and roughly $8,000 left on a car loan. I finally opened the 401k enrollment page last week and then just closed the tab because I didn't know what to pick. Where do I even start un-screwing this? submitted by /u/Pristine-Health-4743 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
