A new platform to connect student needs — looking for 20 international students to try it out (desktop only, free, 15 min)
Hey r/internationalstudents 👋 We’re a small team building PopTouch — a platform where students can post what they need and connect with others who can help, all in one place (with built-in chat, so you don’t have to jump to another app). You can post your own needs, or browse and help others with theirs — or both. We’re looking for 10 students to try it out and tell us what works, what’s confusing, and what’s missing. No sales pitch, just honest feedback. Note: PopTouch is currently desktop only — you’ll need a laptop or computer to test it. What we’d ask you to do: • Sign up and post one real need — here are some examples: • “Looking for a roommate near campus for Fall semester” • “Need a part-time job — open to anything flexible with class schedule” • “Looking for a study partner for upcoming exams” • “Need someone to proofread my personal statement or essay” • “Looking for a carpool to the airport” • “Can trade language tutoring for help with coursework” • Browse what others posted and see if anything clicks • Tell us what felt smooth and what felt off Takes about 15 minutes.
