Paroled at the Border

Hi everyone, Trying to help a friend who is in removal proceedings, open asylum case. He is married with a US Citizen and has an approved I-130. When he came into the country, he crossed the border through California and asked for asylum when he was picked up by border patrol. A few months later, he was released on parole - see the image attached. His question is, is having the I-130 approved and this release notice on parole enough for him to close his asylum case and terminate his deportation proceedings so he can pursue his green card with USCIS? Is the release notice from years ago enough for the inspected and paroled requirement? Thank you! submitted by /u/Haterul to r/USCIS [link] [comments]
