Lower 401k contribution after buying a home?

I was contributing 15% to my 401k. My employer does a 50% match up to 6%. I recently bought a home and I am thinking of lowering my contribution from 15% to 6% until I save more in my emergency funds and then will eventually increase contribution again. Is this a reasonable plan? submitted by /u/acura_days to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
