TN -> I-485 AOS

I’m a Canadian citizen currently in valid TN status. My most recent admission to the U.S. in TN status was in mid July 2026 after returning from a short international trip. At the time I entered, my family-based F1 (unmarried son/daughter of a U.S. citizen) priority date was October 2019 , but the August 2026 Visa Bulletin had not yet been released . Based on the existing Final Action Dates at that time, I was still well over a year away from becoming current, so adjustment of status was not realistically available to me when I entered. Since then, the Department of State unexpectedly advanced the F1 Final Action Date by more than a year in the September 2026 Visa Bulletin, and my priority date is now current and wanting to file the AOS. My TN employment is genuine, I’ve remained continuously employed in TN status, and I have not traveled internationally since my July admission. I also cancelled planned international travel once my priority date became current because I now intend to pursue adjustment of status.
