Stages of grief

I expire 9/02 and have been very obviously going through the stages of grief over my job the last month. This week, denial hit hard and today I’m starting to feel acceptance. I think out loud admitting it’s happening and there’s no miracle happening helped. A lot. I told my team and coworkers I consider friends. I met with my principal and we talked about my last day. I made plans for when I’m taking my stuff home and I’ll start telling students this week. I couldn’t think about it without crying 24 hours ago and now it just feels like… this is absolutely a crappy situation but now there’s no way out but through. The last two weeks I’ve seen every post on here practically in real time bc I was praying for any sign. I didn’t even open my USCIS portal today. It’ll happen when it happens (but don’t get crazy I will stay up to date and push things along if/when I can). I don’t think I’m done crying/grieving lol. But vocalizing it and making a plan helped I think Ok bye make good choices 😗 submitted by /u/One-Morning9978 to r/DACA [link] [comments]
