How do you cope with the stress of PhD applications ?

I've been spending my past few weeks really stressed about the application process. I know stressing about this gets you nowhere but I just keeping falling into this endless loop of "oh I have a lot of research experience I should be able to get a position somewhere, atleast, hopefully" to "oh professors are gonna take one look at your canadian 85% and decide you're stupid and don't deserve to get admission" or "oh maybe I should tell them about the context of my grades. how I had to juggle different fields and how I just got diagnosed and medicated with adhd so now I can cope much better than before." to "nobody wants to hear your run of the mill excuse, it doesn't add anything and makes them think worse of you actually. just accept your failure and brush it off" basically "I'm not that bad, maybe " to "No, you utter failure. Have you even seen how your peers and their impeccable resumes? Who are you fooling?" I have never understood sisyphus better. Every time I come to the conclusion- that I just have to get through it and that worrying gets me nowhere, but here I am again. How do you guys cope ? Am I the only one battling my academic ego vs my crippling self esteem ?? Is everyo…
