how do I cope w this feeling?

I’ve been telling my parents that it’s a dream of mine to study abroad since YEARS. In January, I applied for universities in the UK, and recently got my offer letter after my results. Since the past one month, my dad has been EXTREMELY emotional and trying to convince me to study in my country and not go outside. He’s been more expressive than usual. I was just confirming my accommodation and my visa applications, and he’s still telling me not to go. In the start I was extremely firm on going. As the time is coming closer, he’s been repeating himself and telling me not to leave and he’ll get my admission done in a good university of our country, How UK is not safe, how he thinks it’s risky for me to be there alone etc etc. I’m mentally exhausted arguing with him to convince him to allow me to go. Idk what to do. Today I had a really bad argument with him because I told him to stop repeating himself and just let me go, it’s been a lifelong dream of mine and I told him since the beginning that I will study abroad. He was quietly listening to me and he just said but I love you and don’t want you to leave me. I told him that I need to do this for my future otherwise i will regret it.…
