Should I sell my car?

Hey yall! Quick question regarding my finances. Here’s some info about me. 19M make about 3,400 pre tax every month. Car note: $504 Car insurance: $252 Gas: $250-$400 Rent: $700 Grocieries: $300-$400 WiFi: $18 Renters insurance: $30 Smoking habit: $60 I’m wondering, does it make sense to keep her? She’s a 2012 4Runner with 52,000 miles on it. I love it to death but it gets horrible gas mileage (15-17mpg). My commute is kind of long as I just got a new job and moved out. I can technically afford to keep her and live pretty decently, but would it be better to switch to Camry to save on insurance, payment and gas? I bought it when I still lived at home, didn’t drive far for work, and wanted to build a nice rig. Can’t really afford to mod it anymore, but I did at least get it tuned and the windows tinted. Thank you all for the advice in advance! submitted by /u/Typical-Play4473 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
