Perm and I-140

Hello! I’ve recently joined a new company to which my H1B visa was transferred. During the process I had informed them that I’m on year 4 and it will be valid till the end of 2028. Knowing this , they informed me that the company usually supports the process and will file for the green card . Because my only choice so I have taken it up and started work. But seeing as the recruitment and the managerial team is usually different, and there can be internal company policies, which may not let them start the perm right away how do I need to approach this situation to get my process started ASAP? Is it too late to start the poem or can they still do it any time 365 days earlier before expiration? Does the PERM process impact my ability to travel? submitted by /u/Rebel-Rae to r/h1b [link] [comments]
