I just logged into USCIS for the last time
UC wife here… my husband and I got married in 2022. He has had DACA since he was 18. We filed for AP and he went to Mexico for the first time in November of 2022: his first time since he was 3 years old. He got to visit grandparents and family members he’s never met. It was the trip of a life time. After having a lawyer make mistakes on his AP application causing an REF and a lot of stress I decided to take on the challenge of doing the entire green card app all the way through citizenship. I paid $2500 for a course that walked me through every document. I probably could have figured it out on my own, but it gave me a little bit more security having a guide. If you are super type A I don’t think you need it. As soon as we returned from Mexico I submitted all his paperwork. I believe it was December 2nd of 2022. He received his conditional green card on January 31st 2023. Not even two months. November 2024 we filed for removal of conditions. November 2025 we filled citizenship. August 14th 2026 he had his Oath ceremony. It was the most beautiful day. The ceremony took place at Crater Lake National Park. What an emotional roller coaster this has been.
