Medical bills are pissing me off!

Im at my wits end here. Early this year, we had a baby. When sitting at the obgyn office, I was handed a generic form stating what it would cost to have the baby, I explained I have a 5k deductible and a max out of pocket of 8.2k. This whole event felt rushed and scammy, I kept asking question that were individualized to my insurance coverage, and they just had dont worry answers/ whatever they could say to have me sign the form and leave as fast as possible. When that was done, I had an ultrasound, and the nurse doing it was rude and complained about how long we took in the billing office. It felt like super predatory. My husband keeps close eyes on our finances and pays the office my full deductible at the next visit so we are all set there and the only bill we should receive is from delivery which will be capped due to my max outa pocket. Halfway through my pregnancy, they declared me high risk and started sending me to see a second doctor for ultrasounds. This second doctor starts asking for payments, my husband gets involved, and stats my full deductible is paid already, and all bills need to be at my coinsurance rate. From his view, we are just paying into the max outa pocket…
