Red, White, and Blued!! ❤️🤍💙🦅🇺🇸 (from Asylum to Citizenship - FO: Fairfax/DC)

Since I saw people here celebrate getting "Greened," I thought I'd share my becoming a citizen of the greatest country on Earth -- the United States America! I am far, far more excited to become a citizen than when I got my green card (not to undermine other people's excitement of getting one!). Anyway, here's the breakdown: Country of origin: Saudi Arabia Timeline pre-N-400: Arrival: December 15, 2014 Applied for Asylum: November, 2015 Asylum Interview and grant: May, 2019 (Field office: Bosto Green card applied: September, 2020 Green card received: 11 May, 2022 (retrodated 2021 because asylum; no interview) N-400 Timeline: Applied: February 10, 2026 Biometrics: February 14, 2026 Background recheck (everyone got one): May, 2026 Notice of interview: June 3, 2026 Interiew: July 9, 2026 Ceremony scheduled notification: July 17, 2026 CEREMONY: August 11, 2026! ( From submitted application to oath ceremony: 182 days (six months and two days) Now going to apply for a passport, and then I will no longer need a visa to go to the bathroom.
