F-1 visa re-stamping on STEM OPT after losing passport anyone with a similar experience?

Hi everyone, I’m currently on **STEM OPT** with a valid EAD and a job that’s related to my degree. I had a **valid F-1 visa**, but I unfortunately lost my passport while it was still valid. I’m now in **India** to get my F-1 visa re-stamped so I can return to the U.S. Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did your visa interview go? Were you asked many questions about your employment or the reason for getting a new visa because of the lost passport? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks! submitted by /u/AdKey3834 to r/f1visa [link] [comments]
