Dumb question, why is my tab being refunded after going to the bar?

There’s a bar I frequent a couple of times a month. The bartender is great, he and I are friendly with each other; often chatting while I drink my glass of wine. I’ve noticed twice now that the amount I paid on my tab has been credited to my debit card as if it were a refund, weeks after the night occurred. Does anyone know why that would be? submitted by /u/dannydevitodreams to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
