Has anyone been admitted to ETH Zurich MSc CS below the stated GPA cutoff?

ETH Zurich currently lists an 8.8/10 minimum grade requirement for Indian applicants to MSc CS. I have a 7.99/10 CGPA in Engineering Physics from an IIT, with most of my work/research experience in software and AI/ML. Has anyone here applied to ETH MSc CS with a GPA below their country-specific minimum? Was your application automatically rejected, or was the rest of your profile considered? Looking specifically for actual applicant experiences rather than guesses about how admissions might work. Thanks! submitted by /u/Key-Nefariousness-46 to r/gradadmissions [link] [comments]
