Part 2 – I Made Over $12,625 in Bank Bonuses: Banks I Regret Dealing With

A few months ago I made a post after opening multiple bank accounts to collect bonuses. Final result: $12,625 in cash bonuses, + 80k Citi miles + 60k Amex points. Below is a summary of how easy or hard it was to deal with each bank, get the bonus, and close the account. The banks are listed in order from best to worst. All banks paid out their bonuses. SoFi was the only one that paid just days after I completed the direct deposit requirement. Most of the other banks paid within 60–90 days of completing the required steps. I've had several Chase cards over the years and collected multiple bonuses without a single issue. Customer service is excellent, the online dashboard is great, money hits the account instantly, and I've never had any problems. I'm now helping my mom open Chase cards so she can get the same bonuses. Chase is my homie. SoFi – 9/10 ($725) Super easy. Opened the account in minutes, basically no questions besides the normal identity verification. I also stacked it with Swagbucks and got another $325.…
