Getting rid of a non-working car in a financially smart way?

My mom has an 2013 Mercedes ML350, she wants to get rid of it. At first she was asking if I know anyone to take it for free. I told her she's nuts, because even a broken car is still worth SOMETHING. The issue is the car has a power steering malfunction that causes too much to fix. Otherwise, the car has little damage elsewhere. It has a small dent on the trunk door, otherwise it's not in terrible shape at all. What's the best way to sell this off and valuate its current value? Do I facebook marketplace? would carvana take it? submitted by /u/Jolly-Manufacturer35 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
