What can I do with a WAY out of town gift card?

Edit: Thank you for the numerous quick responses. The card has a "givex" logo on it, and thus, as I understand it, can't be used anywhere but at the named restaurant. No more replies needed. I'm all set. I received a well-intended gift card for a restaurant in a city I'm unlikely to visit in the next five years if ever. It has a magnetic strip on it; it's not a pen-and-paper "gift certificate." What are the chances I could use this card in any store, and if those chances are slim, what do I do with it? submitted by /u/fcgjdd to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
