Firing our financial advisor today. Need help

About two years ago we signed on with a financial advisor who has honestly done little to nothing for us, but continues to take his fees. My husband has agreed that he needs to go. When we hired him, I transferred our stocks over to his platform (Lpl financial). Its under $200k and it’s a non retirement account. I’ve logged into Lpl today just to look at transferring the account over and he now has us invested in over 190 common stocks. I believe when we transferred to him originally we had less than 10 and mostly were ETFs. What am I supposed to do with small positions of 190 stocks?!?! It’s too much to manage. I don’t want to sell them and trigger a tax situation. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance. submitted by /u/Empty-Weekend7784 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
