Got greened!! (Venezuelan married to US citizen)
First I just wanna say thanks to everyone that commented on my last post during the glitch and also a general thanks to everyone in the sub that has accompanied me in this path in one way or another! For background, I’m Venezuelan, came 10 years ago this November, on a tourist visa, overstayed as I didn’t qualify for asylum, so obviously also work without authorization; got the TPS back in 2022/2023 and been with my husband for almost 8 years and been married for one! Filed I-485 and I-130 concurrently, as well as I-765, we used a lawyer as I felt that it was better to be safe with how things have changed in recent years. Field office Irving TX November 6th, 2025–Filed all forms. November 15th, 2025–Schedule for Biometrics. December 5th, 2025–“Actively Reviewing our case”. May 22nd, 2026–Interview Scheduled. June 26th, 2026–Interview. July 6th, 2026– I-130 Approved. July 13th, 2026–“Currently processing our case”. July 22nd, 2026– I-485 Approved, the same day of the glitch. July 28th, 2026–Card was Produced. July 31st, 2026 (Silent Update)— Card was delivered to my lawyers Office.
