I am being audited from 2024

My husband and I are being audited. We don't make a ton of money. Combined 140k At first I wasn't concerned, we have always been meticulous about out taxes. But now upon reviewing 2024 we typed the wrong amount by like $40k 😑 and now I am super sick about making a true and honest mistake. What is the worst case scenario? submitted by /u/Maleficent-Quit7489 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
