28 - Financially doing well but feel like I’m missing my 20s. Move out or stay with parents?

I’m 28 and trying to decide if I should move out or stay with my parents. Financially, I’m in a good spot: Ontario Live at home Full-time job: $60k Part-time job: $60k Paid-off car FHSA: $34k RRSP: $24k TFSA: $115k Cash: $22k No debt My full-time job is also only a 5-minute drive from home, so it’s hard to justify leaving. The downside is I’m working 60-80 hours a week and feel like my life is on repeat. I’m single, and I wonder if I’m spending my late 20s optimizing my finances instead of actually living. It’s not like I’m missing weddings, family events, or travel—I still make time for those. It’s more that I feel like I’m missing out on the everyday parts of life: independence, dating, meeting people, and having a life outside of work. Financially, staying home seems like the right move. Emotionally, I’m not so sure. For those who’ve been in a similar position, would you stay home and keep building wealth, or move out even if it slows your financial progress? What would you do if you were in my shoes? submitted by /u/flubzor1 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
