Need advice from international students at Memorial University,Canada (AI/Computer Science)

Hi everyone, I’m an international student and I’m planning to apply for a master’s in AI or a computer science-related program in Canada. I’m considering Memorial University in Newfoundland and wanted to hear from students who are currently living or studying there. I have a few questions: - How difficult is it to find a part-time job in St. John’s? - How long does it usually take international students to get their first part-time job? - Are there opportunities for AI, software, or tech internships during or after the program? - What are the average monthly living expenses (rent, food, transportation)? - Do you think Memorial University is a good choice for someone who wants to become an AI engineer in Canada? I’d really appreciate honest advice, especially from current international students. Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/Perfect_Macaron_151 to r/InternationalStudents [link] [comments]
