Just learned my employer isn't paying my taxes! (Advice)

In February I was laid off from a job due to budget cuts, and a supervisor referred me to a little local company owned by a old coworker of his. Needless to say I was desperate just to get back to work. Now 6 months later, I went up to the secretaries desk and asked if I could get a paystub to look at how much PTO I have. And she told me that I didn't have any paystubs and I have been getting paid under the table and she hopes I have been saving money to pay my taxes at the end of the year and file a 10-99. Obviously I was livid as I was not planning on having to save for it. Then she told me the reason I was getting paid under the table is that the company was going to switch payroll systems and they just never got around to actually going through with it. All of my coworkers with the exception of the guy who was hired just after me are all on the old payroll and are having taxes deducted. What do I do? I am in my early 20s and the last thing I need is more debt. Any help is appreciated. Edit: I am not a contractor, I'm a salary employee submitted by /u/Saquon-Goonmaster to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
