My father recently passed and left $20k for my daughter to buy a car when she turns 16. She is currently 11. Where should I put this so hopefully it will grow a lot more in 5 years?

The wife and I will help if she needs some more but I want to put the $20k to work. What do you suggest? And by the way he didn’t do this for his other grandchildren, just my daughter because she was his favorite. His words. submitted by /u/RogerMcswain to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
