50 year old and a 401k currently less than 1x salary

I am currently putting in 9% and increasing 1% every November with a 5% employer match. I don’t want to be stupid but I need to be aggressive. Should I put it in a S&P 500 Index Fund or a Target Date 2040 Fund? Aggressive or Most Aggressive - any advice is appreciated. submitted by /u/Opening_Fan_2033 to r/personalfinance [link] [comments]
