got my green card 9 days after my interview. still in shock

I shared on here about my interview from last week. It happened on Tuesday, July 14. The officer mentioned we might have to wait up to 120 days. But guess what? By 5 PM that same day, the I-130 was approved. The I-485 followed the next day. My Social Security card arrived on Saturday, and by Thursday, my green card was waiting in my mailbox. Just nine days after the interview. I was reading through posts here to get ready, and I wanted to add my experience for anyone who might find it helpful Timeline: March 28 — I-130 filed April 2 — I-485 filed April 10 — Biometrics notice April 29 — Biometrics appointment June 8 — Interview notice July 14 — Interview July 14 — I-130 approved same day July 15 — I-485 approved July 18 — Social Security card received July 23 — Green card in hand 3 months and 25 days. NYC field office. 2026. Good luck to everyone still waiting. 🙏 submitted by /u/Upset_Policy_4786 to r/USCIS [link] [comments]
