Dear applicants: Fighting a decision probably won't help your case.

So you applied to a program and were not accepted. I understand your disappointment and how hard this can be. If you feel the urget to push back on the decision, please take a moment to think and reflect. And if you ask the program to reconsider, please accept their response even if it is confirmation you aren't being accepted. Do you know what does not help your case? If you try to circumvent the review process by reaching out to individual faculty members or other administrators and pleading your case.
