My elder mom is getting scammed… again.

Im in the United States and my mom has sent thousands of dollars to somebody whom she met online, thinking he was going to come see her. After reverse google searching this guys picture, it turned out this guy was posing as somebody else under a fake name. Cashapp shut her account down and we had a talk about why/how she got scammed. A few weeks later she got a check in the mail for millions of dollars to which she couldnt tell was fake and wanted to deposit it (she likely has onset of a mental condition, unfortunately and discussion the family has around that topic she shuts down). After searching online, I was able to show her the guy shes talking to was also a scammer. Yes, I know it sounds like what the root of these financial decisions are but I cant fix why shes talking to these people as I know it will not stop. I just want to protect her. Today, which is weeks after the last guy. I found a letter from a bank, addressed to a random guy, asking my mom to send copies of her drivers license and residential address to be added to his account. I dont understand this one yet but I have a few ideas. I looked at the images of this guy which were all AI pictures. What can I do to hel…
