Homestay Change?

I just arrived at my homestay in Japan, and I’m honestly feeling really overwhelmed. I know it’s only been one night, so I’m wondering if I’m overreacting or if this is a reasonable reason to ask for a transfer. First, I want to say that my host family has been kind. They haven’t been rude or mean to me at all, so this isn’t about them as people The problem is that I really don’t feel like this placement is a good fit. The room is very small for two students, feels dusty, and my sleeping area is right next to the patio door. The door stays open because there’s no AC, so cold air blows directly onto me all night. Between the outside noise, water dripping, and a baby crying during the night, I barely slept. The futon is also very thin, and the bedding feels more like a light towel than a blanket. The food has also worried me. Our first dinner was one small chicken nugget over rice with a few small side dishes, and I was still starving afterward. It also seemed like most of the food was reheated or convenience food. Another thing is that communication is almost nonexistent.
